Most frequently asked questions about Classic Basics fabric.
Why do you need Classic Basics?
We are the first and only luxury clothing brand in Wold that offers highest rated UPF50+ wear to shield your skin from harmful UV radiation . Not only that, we are the first Indian clothing company which ensures the high prevention quality of our fabrics from Skin Cancer and other serious skin issues cause under deep sunlight.
What makes our cloth UV protected?
3 internantional patent pendings and years of R&D we bring to you a silk which is considered to be highly protective, as they reflect UV radiation and make our High-tech fabrics UV resistant.
What is the difference between UPF & SPF?
SPF is Sun protection factor, used for measuring the ratio of sunscreen
products and it protects the skin only from the UVB rays (the source of sunburn). Whereas UPF is Ultraviolet protection factor, found in sun protective clothes and capable to block both UVA & UVB rays from reaching your skin & causing any harm.
What is the rate of UV protection in normal cloth?
Usually, a simple white cotton shirt can hardly provide you the UPF of 7 and it gets down to UPF3 when it's wet. A fabric must have at least UPF30 or UPF5 in order to provide a 'Good' protection to your body. So, it is always best to wear only the certified & high rated UPF (UPF50+) fabrics, if you want to be certain about the protection and cope up with any climate.
